Future Blessing for Israel

“Thus says the Lord GOD: When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob. And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God.”

Ezekiel 28:25-26 NKJV

This particular passage popped up on my through-the-Bible in a year program while I was in Israel with our church group back in November.

I was blessed to be able to go to Israel with my wife and some of our church family. It was an awesome retreat that I hope and pray we get to do again someday. I find it hard to describe what it felt like walking where Jesus walked, and worshiping where Jesus taught, and taking communion at the garden tomb. We had four pastors with us and Eli, our tour guide that is a Jewish believer (a completed Jew). The pastors, three were from CCLW, shared scriptures from the Old and New Testaments at places mentioned in the Bible. The history of the land was explained to us in great detail by Eli (pronounced “Ellie”).  Listening to him explain the events that had taken place, and then backing up what he shared with the Scriptures was over the top.

Oh, we had fun too. I've never laughed so hard and had that much fun with the family of God. We took selfies and "family photos" everywhere. Our bus driver Yaniv even got it on some the family fun and took several pictures with us. One of the highlights for me was playing the snare cajon with Joe Arant as we all were singing worship songs to the Lord in many different places. One of my favorite places was on a boat while we were on the Sea of Galilee.

So, if you get the opportunity to go to the Holy Land and experience the True and Living Word, you will be blessed.

Merry Christmas and have a Blessed New Year!

Thanks Tim!
Al and I got to be blessed in going in 2014 and we too experienced those feelings and thoughts you mentioned. It was a memory never to be forgotten. Our group too was so much fun! Glad you all had a blessed experience!

Visiting such kind of places in which the person not only comes in contact with the nature but also with the God is really an amazing experience. I also wish to visit Israel one day and visit all those places that make me feel connected to God in such a well way.
